Problem
The old Webflow site no longer said what the company sells, operational certainty rather than document storage, and it couldn't be versioned, tested or measured.
Constraints
- Keep every existing Webflow URL alive for search and inbound links.
- Spanish-first copy governed by a positioning document with strict vocabulary rules.
- Heavy art direction (video, 3D characters) without hurting performance.
Decisions
Astro, static by default
A marketing site doesn't need a client framework on every page. Static output with islands keeps interactive behavior localized; the October update adds bilingual pages without shipping a translation service to the browser.
Harnesses that measure
A contrast harness that measures real rendered pixels and a 36-route smoke test caught the one production incident (18 pages briefly returning 404) the same day.
Outcome
A 12-section home page built from the positioning document, plus platform, guided tour, industries, resources, blog, case studies and glossary pages. The October 17–18 update extended the site in Spanish and English, with visual, motion, privacy-control and structured-data checks. Published to the Vercel feedback alias; the domain transition remains a separate step. I am also working on broader LegalShelf platform enhancements and AI modules, which remain work in progress.
